Sometimes an album really brings together an entire narrative concept that the artist expresses through the music and various visual presentations. To that end, we received a promo from Raygun Ballet last month.

What mechanisms that these folks use to create a 1950’s sci-fi scene through straight-forward downtempo music, I don’t know. The results are truly engaging and pleasant. Favorite song is, without a doubt, Sparky’s Theme.

Also, it seems they have an ambient album called Immersion Theory which they didn’t send to us, but the excerpts sound good…
